Backcountry Kayak Fishing

One of the last bastions of nature undisturbed, the Everglades are world renowned and EcoAdventures will take you there. Explore them by kayak, canoe, airboat, bike or foot. Experience a swamp tromp, go backcountry kayak fishing or on a camping expedition, and come face to face with this unique region’s wildlife. Stop by alligator holes and see these prehistoric reptiles in their natural habitat. Glimpse the Purple Gallanule, voted the most colorful bird in Florida, and the endangered Everglades Snail Kite, as well as herons, grackles, turtles, raccoons, and other Everglades native wildlife. Enjoy scenic trails, which pass through open sawgrass prairies, grassy marshes and tropical hardwood hammocks. The Everglades is the only ecosystem of its kind in the world and a must-see.
